Eight countries, 12 major battles

and countless fighting actions

and engagements, 1939-1945

Soon, you will be able to learn about the Divisional Cavalry's campaigns, actions and engagements. These stories are being developed now.

Many engagements are documented in New Zealand's official war histories, but these reports don't describe everything that happened, particularly at the unit level, or at the level of the individual DivCav trooper.

If you have information, photographs or letters from the wartime era that can shed new light on what actually took place, please share these insights with us.

Everything we learn will create a memorable DivCav experience for everyone, make history real, and help us keep the DivCav's traditions alive.
